So basically, I have class four days a week and then I TA the swim course on the one day I do have off. And I work saturday from 12-5.
and have so many fucking clubs to go to its ridic. and im auditing the circus class again. and i probably spelled "auditing" wrong.
My poetry class is ridicuously hard.
My Intro. to lesbian and gay studies is ill.

I just want it to be the 21st so I can get out of here. I don't have tons of studying to do for finals. I just have to finish reading a collection by Tobias Wolff and write a two page paper on it, and gather all of my work together for my fiction and poetry portfolios.

The swim (which i founded!), starts on monday.
Maybe I'll start going to GLBTU meetings? Get a board position?
Submit to ItalicsMine? Work for the Indy? The Submission?
I miss being active in school. I definatley needed a year to recoop. High School clubs and sports burned me out.

So this semester has been...well, crazy to say the least.
I think almost everyone is in agrees that so far, sophmore year is way better than freshman year.
My classes just keep getting better and better.
I'm the only one in my program taking Fiction One and Poetry One at the same time. The work isnt exactly overwhelming, it just takes some scheduling to get it all done on time.
Today I went to a lecture series at the museum on campus to hear the dean of humantities and my favorite professor talk about 1950's and 60's impressionism in relation to the poetry of that time. There were alot of refrences to Emerson, Whitman and Ashbury that escaped me, but I'm glad the bulk of it concentrated on Frank O'Hara's work. I've been reading him since tenth grade when I found one of his anthogies at that bargain bookstore that was around for a hot minute before bed bath and beyond was built near old navy.
My sisters keep IMing me when I'm away and tell me I "better call home soon" which I find ridiculous. My parents know I a) still don't have a cell phone and haven't had one for a year now and b) that you can't dial out on my room phone.
More later when I'm even more bored. |

So my pursuit of my friend Andy, a wonderful dancer from orgeon who I've been friends with for a year has pretty much ended. But I'm trying to stay positive about it. We're still really great friends and he's such a fucking sweetheart.
I keep seeing a freshmen around campus who wears some kind of hearing aid device. Maybe he's deaf? He is incredibly cute though.
My mother would laugh her ass off if I dated a deaf man. Oh irony.
My circus skills class is fucking awesome, unlike my Fiction class and Poetry class. They're so boring and move so fucking slow.
I have to buy a book today and $84 worth of paint. |

The Bad:
Purchase ave my financial aid package four days ago and I'm STILL in the process of sorting it all out with them three days before school starts.
The Good:
I'm paying $4,000 for the year to go to a $16,000 a year school.
Pretty fucking sweet, I'd say. That's cheaper than going to Suffolk or Nassau. |

So yeah.
I'm watching Adams Family Values - I don't think I understood how funny this movie was hen I was younger.
Today I scraped my bowl at work and smoked the reisin - got MAD fucked up and read two books.
Tomorrow is my last day!
I jacked a sick set of thos tube christmas lights today that were sitting in the storae closet and I'll probably liberate some of these cool parking signs that are there tomorrow. Its all just sitting there and they're all old and senile - they'll just think its all been thrown out or lost. It'll look sick in the apartment so yeah.
I hope it rains - I can just bake out the boiler closet one last time and peace out and get a haircut and all that jazz.
My oldest sister katie an her boyfriend are moving out of the hous soon.
The three oldest will be out f the house - me at school, jess living in her house year round in conn. My mom is gonna go nuts. |
